Art trade with NekoSakura. That should tell you enough XD XD XD

Just kidding ;) err... THAT IS NOT REAL BLOOD. You sicko. It's a homemade mixture of sugar-water and red food coloring, and it tastes reaally good. XD Stains your whole mouth red though. I actually didin't add enough sugar to my sugar water when I was "cooking" it, resulting in the blood being a little runny. It still worked though.

This is officially the highest budget photo I've ever taken, coming in at an incredible $1.25. It was also a PAIN IN THE ARSE to clean up the shower.

I originally tried it with tomato products; a mixture of ketchup and pasta sauce. PLEASE remind me never to do that again. It looked SOOOOOOOOOOO fake and my bathroom smelled like tomatoes for a day or two. It was terrible.

Habeas Corpus is "in the abscence of the body" in Latin and basically means that you can't put anyone on trial if you don't have them in custody.

By the way, if you look closely you can see the murder weapon ;)

Enjoy.

It's really easy stuff too! Just make sure you add in enough sugar to your water and boil it so that A. It has a realistic consistencey, and B. It just tastes good XD But you can use veggie oil if you're lazy. Add a DROP of blue in to make it more realistic too, by the way.

sooo what kind of picture-worthy birthday spheel are you doing exactly?

...and thanks for the :+fav:

Wait, I thinkI see It. It's the drain Isn't It???? lol Safety pin my arse. lol

Anyways, actual critique, maybe. :) I must say, this Is the first blood/mutilation shot I've seen done In an artistic manner. It somewhat reminds me of Hitchcock, If there wasn't a "weapon" visible. However, putting that In there adds a more modern reverse-shakespearian attitude.

However, with the "weapon" being as It Is doesn't lead me to believe It Is Indead a weapon, but a tool to ones own ending as a safety pin doesn't make a handy weapon. Needle pins are much more effective . . . especially with the Intent of murdering your own finger tips.

In the end, I will conceede that the blood does Indeed look real. From someone who has lots of experience with real blood; when mixed with reminants of water often found In a shower basin after a pre-cleansing of a suicide(r) [don't believe In calling them victims, sorta defeats the point doesn't It?] causes the blood the thin so that It appears as If It's water color paint splattered everywhere.

Thanks so much for the awesome comment :) The way you worded it is so vivid and intellegent. I love it.

LOL

That's so great.

It's really that realistic? I hate when blood comes out of my shower instead of water XD (thanks Maria) but... wow... thanks so much man. That's the first batch of the stuff I ever made!

:eyepopping: A safety pin?
:giggle: I have the same shower drain as you!
:clapping: Nice job though. I have a recipe for thick fake blood, but it consists of corn starch, and corn syrup and it tastes bad, and it's sticky and messy. Kinda like real blood, I assume.

hehe cool... The stuff I make tastes pretty good, as long as you don't drink a whole lot of it at one time :)

Maybe it was in your shower, eh?
